The X-Factor Live Show

Yesterday,Friday the 12th of November, I went with Evi,Christina and Polina (a friend of Evi) on the X-Factor, a greek talent show! We had a great time! We were sitting behind the critics( theofanous,gkagkaki,leventis and mouratidis) and the TV channel called ANT1 showed us. Of course, all our friends called us and asked us: "Are you sitting behind the critics in the X-Factor?"! It was very funny xD So, we took some photos with the contestants and it was a great experience.Anyway, here are some photos of Sakis, the contestants and the critics.

Pop Art

Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the mid 1950s in Britain and in the late 1950s in the United States. Pop art challenged tradition by asserting that an artist's use of the mass-produced visual commodities of popular culture is contiguous with the perspective of fine art. Pop removes the material from its context and isolates the object, or combines it with other objects, for contemplation. The concept of pop art refers not as much to the art itself as to the attitudes that led to it.

Characterized by themes and techniques drawn from popular mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural objects, pop art is widely interpreted as a reaction to the then-dominant ideas of abstract expressionism, as well as an expansion upon them. Pop art is aimed to employ images of popular as opposed to elitist culture in art, emphasizing the banal or kitschy elements of any given culture, most often through the use of irony. It is also associated with the artists' use of mechanical means of reproduction or rendering techniques.

Much of pop art is considered incongruent, as the conceptual practices that are often used make it difficult for some to readily comprehend. Pop art and minimalism are considered to be art movements that precede postmodern art, or are some of the earliest examples of Postmodern Art themselves.

Pop art often takes as its imagery that which is currently in use in advertising. Product labeling and logos figure prominently in the imagery chosen by pop artists, like in the Campbell's Soup Cans labels, by Andy Warhol. Even the labeling on the shipping carton containing retail items has been used as subject matter in pop art, for example in Warhol's Campbell's Tomato Juice Box 1964, (pictured below), or his Brillo Soap Box sculptures.

Best Friends

This is my best friend for the last 6 years... I have 1000 words to describe her.. She 's funny, cute, sensible(sometimes), unique, real, kafros, active, bieberfucker, friendly(sometimes), snowlover and many other things... The way we met was very funny... When I moved to greece (during summer) I went to a summer camp. I had no friends and I saw Gina hanging out with two girls that were ugly and stupid... We were arguing a lot and I met her during the next school year! I was like "wtf"? The first year we weren't friends but in the 2nd one we were inseparable... I could write 300 pages of me and gina's memories, but I think it's enough... I love you so much <3

She can make you smile even if you are bored or mad. I would like to make some special notes about her and only her can understand what im talking about.

Viva España

Since I've been watching a serial named "Il mondo di patty" I was amazed of the spanish language... Basically,I understand pretty well what spanish ppl are talking about , but I can't talk that easy..

I used to talk spanish when I was 5 to 8 years old,I think... But it's been 6 years since then so I forgot them a bit.. But Im doing an effort to understand and talk them :) I decided to do online lessons and remember them...Wish me good luck ;) And don't forget Viva La Vida, Viva España!

Πρόκειται για μια σειρά φαινόμενο που κατέκτησε τις καρδιές των τηλεθεατών και έγινε μεγάλη επιτυχία σε πολλές χώρες του κόσμου, ενώ το 2008 ήταν υποψήφια για 'Εμι καλύτερης παιδικής και νεανικής σειράς.
Η 13χρονη Πάτυ ζει με την μητέρα της Κάρμεν σε μια παραθαλάσσια κωμόπολη της Αργεντινής και έχει δυο μεγάλα όνειρα. Πρώτον, να βρει κάποτε τον πατέρα της, την ταυτότητα του οποίου της αποκρύπτει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια η Κάρμεν και δεύτερον, να γίνει κάποτε διάσημη τραγουδίστρια. 'Ενα ταξίδι στο Μπουένος 'Αιρες, θα δώσει την ευκαιρία στην αξιολάτρευτη Πάτυ να κάνει τα όνειρά της πραγματικότητα, αλλά ίσως και να κατακτήσει την καρδιά του πρώτου της έρωτα,  του 15χρονου Ματίας.

Honestly,I'm addicted to Patty..  I don't miss an episode ;p Although im 15 years old, I like the whole story ! Because the actors are in my age -maybe some of them- but I relax and I enjoy spending my free time by watching it ... Believe it or not, i like it a lot! ;D
